More recently Community Advice Services have moved from the Second Avenue Resource Center on the Nunsthorpe to East Marsh Community Trust's main offices on Kent Street.
To develop the capacity and skills of the members of the socially and economically disadvantaged community of North East Lincolnshire in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help meet, their (own) needs and to participate more fully in society.

The relief of financial hardship by the provision of free legal advice, assistance and representation to people who through lack of means would otherwise be unable to obtain such support(advice).

To relieve poverty, hardship and distress among people living or working in North East Lincolnshire and its surrounding areas through the provision of low cost furniture and household goods.
Relief of Unemployment
The relief of unemployment in the local community through the provision of training and personal development programmes, work placement opportunities and preparation for employment activities.
Sustainable Development
To promote sustainable development for the benefit of the public by:
(a) The recycling and reuse of furniture and household goods;
(b) The environmentally sound disposal of items unsuitable for reuse;
(c) The relief of poverty and the improvement of the conditions of life in socially and disadvantaged communities through the promotion of sustainable means of economic growth and regeneration.
Sustainable development means “development which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.”
